The zoom experience works so well for me. If the weather is foul my lack of discipline would mean I may decide to stay home and have another cup of coffee!! Also, in the privacy of my own home I’m not trying to compete with anyone except myself (and you!). Having just had 2 weeks away lying on a sun bed I realise how valuable the movement Pilates offers is so important to my continued easy mobility.

I would just like to tell you that after breaking my pelvis I found it very difficult to get in and out of the bath. After the last three weeks of your pilates classes I am finding it so much easier. I will press on doing them regularly. Thank you for all your help.

I have been doing Pilates with Sam for some 13 years now, during that time I have managed to do a weekly class, always excellent, informative and good fun classes! Now we have Zoom! Amazing I can now do three classes a week, just as much fun. So when I go away on holiday, I can still do Zoom, never miss out ~ even in the Maldives!

Having had an Arthroscopy, 10 years ago, my knee over the last 12 months had been difficult to bend and painful to use. Going regularly to Sam's Pilates classes, I can now bend my knee perfectly in order to sit cross-legged or perform glut stretches and child pose. My knee now withholds 10 mile walks at ease. This is great news, as I really didn't want to have a knee replacement as yet. :-) Thanks Sam

I have been doing Pilates with Sam for about 20 years, then we had lockdown and started with Zoom, which was fine but I missed not doing live classes. So when Sam organised for us to go back to the live classes, I turned up on the first Monday morning, a little apprehensive because it wasn't Sam taking the class, and met the lovely Clare. I need not have worried!! I have had a few health/body problems and Clare has been so helpful and supportive throughout. She is an Osteopath as well as a qualified Pilates teacher, so she has so much extra knowledge to help you with if you need it! She is very caring and caters so well for all our different needs in class!!! How lucky am I?! Now in my 80's, to have first Sam and now Clare to keep me moving!!!

Sam has had a number of recent sessions using the foam rollers, it was brilliant. I'd been in some pain from working in a shop, looking after grandchildren and doing Yoga, and so with a busy life, I'd stopped my Pilates routine. I went back to Sam's classes this week, I now realise that the more pain that you're in the MORE reason to attend classes to get moving again! Using the foam rollers was great for trigger pointing and getting me going again. Great work. I can't wait to use the foam rollers again.

Sam's professionalism is exemplary, her knowledge and experience second to none and I am quite certain that without her ability to adapt pilates moves to suit individual circumstances and conditions, I would not be as fit as I am. The sessions are an hour of calm for me. I leave feeling refreshed and re- energised. Sam is knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to any issues and explore what my body can and can’t do to identify areas to focus on. Her explanation are clear and detailed and allows me work within my ability whilst challenging me to go further. I love my sessions with Sam and couldn’t have found a better teacher ❤️

I always really enjoy Clare’s Pilates classes - they leave me feeling nicely stretched, but also less stressed! She has a calm professional manner and achieves a good balance between regular exercises, to ensure optimum body movement, and some different things to challenge us each week. Clare ensures she is aware of each person’s particular needs or any injuries and will adapt stretches and movements to reflect this for them. Her osteopathic training is invaluable in this respect. Above all Clare is an extremely caring, empathetic individual and a pleasure to be around. I love her classes!

My Osteopath recommended Sam as I had been having problems with my neck and back. I have two young children and lugging them around combined with having very little time to myself meant that my body was suffering. The Zoom sessions are convenient and flexible, meaning I can fit them around chaotic family life, and if I miss one there is always the recordings to do, an added bonus! Since attending Sam's classes, I haven't needed to have any further Osteopath sessions and am very pleased with how my flexibility and core strength are improving. Sam's constant joviality and words of encouragement make attending sessions a pleasure. Thank you for all your help, Sam!
